Kathie was forging a successful career in sales and marketing in Sydney when family commitments drew her to Newcastle in 2004. She found the process of finding a new home very frustrating and time consuming.

There seemed to be a lot of guesswork in pricing properties and a lot of game playing and stress in negotiating. Many of the agents I dealt with were less than helpful. I just wished I had a local friend in real estate that could have helped make the process easier. That experience combined with a love of my new hometown prompted my career change to real estate.
